Mrs. Sharon Hertz

Mrs. Hertz was born in Merrimack, New Hampshire. She lived there until she was sixteen, and then moved to New Jersey. She graduated in 1995 with a BS in Math Education and a minor in Fine Arts from the College of New Jersey (formerly known as Trenton State College). She started teaching in January of 1996, for the Freehold Regional School District in New Jersey. In June 1998, she moved to Charlo and started teaching that fall. She earned a masters in education from the U of M in 2000. Mrs. Hertz teaches Math and Art. She is the advisor for the Ponderosa Chapter of the National Honor Society program at Charlo. In her opinion, an ideal student is a person who has respect for others, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
