Charlo Book Fair: Book fair in the Library - Apr.l 15-18 from 7:30-10:00; 12:00-1:00; and4:00-6:00 respectively. Buy one, get one free!

Participation Fees Due: All student athletes must pay their participation fees for track and softball before their next competition: for softball that’s tomorrow, for JH track that’s Friday, and for HS Track that’s tomorrow.

Question of the Week: When will Charlo find out about being a Free Lunch School for all students? Just this week we were notified by the Office of Public Instruction that Charlo now meets the Community Eligibility Provision otherwise known as the School Wide Free Lunch Program. Beginning in the Fall of 2024 all students will eat for free at Charlo. The Community Eligibility Provision for the National Lunch Program provides alternative to household applications for free and reduced price meals for economically disadvantaged children. Bonfire Pit: Please do not dump your trash, old lumber, grass, brush, etc on the area the school traditionally uses for its bonfire in the fall. It has become an eye sore. It becomes dangerous not knowing exactly what has been dumped into it. Thank you for you cooperation.

Front Doors Locked: Recently we have seen more foot traffic than we are used to around the school on our streets. We have had no issues but for safety reasons we will now have our front doors locked during the day. Visitors will have to buzz in and be allowed to enter the building. This is not uncommon for schools to do this and we feel it’s an appropriate measure to take. It might be inconvenient at first but over time it will become a good safety habit.

Morning Drop-Off: Please do not drop off students near the JH doors or shop. That area gets congested with staff and school buses. Please just drop off students out front. Thank you!
