Coaching Positions for 2022-2023: Charlo Schools 7J has an opening for 2 Junior High Boys Basketball Coaches for the 2022-2023 season. Junior High Boys Basketball begins around the middle of October and ends in early December. Charlo is a Class “C” school with 80 students in the High School and 250 students overall in K-12. It is located in the beautiful Mission Valley North of Missoula, MT. Salary is a stipend of approximately $2200 depending on years of experience. 2022-2023 School Year: Yes, it’s only July but the first day of school will be here before you know it. High school athletes start practice on Aug. 12 while all students report on Aug. 24 so please start planning ahead for supplies, sports physicals, fees, etc. We will be getting out more information as the big day approaches on practice times, meetings, bus routes, and class schedules. Parents can find supply lists for all grades except 2nd grade and 5th grade as we have new personnel in those positions. We will update those grade levels as soon as possible. Supply lists for each teacher can be found on the school website under the staff directory. Choose the teacher and then click on supplies under the teacher’s name.
Substitutes: We will be looking for substitute teachers, custodians, kitchen help, and bus drivers at the school. If that is something you are interested in please contact the school. Substitutes are vital to keeping the doors open. Call 644-2206 for more information.

School Board Meeting July 19 at 8 PM in the Library. Regular monthly school board meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month. Agendas are posted no later than the Friday before the meeting at the school, Charlo Post Office, and Dixon Post Office. Board packets are available upon request at the District Office.
