Homecoming Success! Thank you to everyone that helped make Homecoming 2023 a success! Charlo’s tradition at Homecoming is famous and that tradition continued last week. Thanks to students, staff, parents, and community members for keeping the tradition alive!
Mid-Term: Next Thursday, Sep. 21 is the mid-term of the 1st quarter and progress reports will go out the following week. Please keep up with your student’s academic progress with regular communication with teacher as well as checking in on your students’ information system Infinite Campus.
Activity Schedules/Calendar: The schedule changes almost daily due to shortage of officials, shortage of JV teams, low numbers in JH, lack of bus drivers, scheduling conflicts, and lack of game administration assistance. All schools are dealing with these issues so game dates and times are constantly changing. The best way to keep up with the schedule is to check out the school website for the latest information: https://charlo.k12.mt.us/about/calendars/school/ or call the office at 644-2206.
Substitutes: We are always looking for substitute teachers, bus drivers, custodians, and cooks to help fill in when regular employees have to be gone. If you would like to be on our substitute list please contact the office for more information at 644-2206.
Question of the Week: Will the HVAC system be working in time for cold temperatures?
The short answer is yes! This week the cooling side of the units have been needed. Most classroom units are up and running as of yesterday. The cool rooms were immediately noticed by students and staff. Rooms that can be over 80 degrees by lunchtime were running at 72 degrees the past two days. We are still waiting for unit controllers for the hallways and other areas such as the offices. Technicians are working out some glitches with software and installation noises in a few places. The unit controllers are supposed to arrive before the end of September. The goal is to have everything wrapped up in all areas by October.
If you have a question of the week please email [email protected].
